Über die Veranstaltung
Do you often have a last piece of bread that dries up? Does a salad sometimes hang powerlessly in the fridge? Or are there sad lentils hiding on the shelf behind the spaghetti? Do you take on the challenge of conjuring up a feast out of leftover, forgotten and discarded food? Then the Foodsave Kitchen Battle, which foodwaste.ch and VENALU are organizing as part of the Lucerne Sustainability Weeks, is just the thing for you. After a short input on the topic of food waste, the competing teams will cook a self-created leftover dinner and receive practical Foodsave tips. Afterwards, we will enjoy the delicious menus together and choose the winning group of the evening.
Event schedule
The event will start with a short input on Food Waste followed by the explanation of the rules of the game. After a group division, the independent cooking in groups begins. The guests join at 8.30 PM and the meal is shared. Afterwards the winners will be elected and honored. Last but not least, there will be a clean-up.
